This is a great recipe to whip up on demand. Super easy and comes with 'home made' bragging rights.
Ingredients:
1 red chill, finely chopped (birds eye for me)
1/4 tsp salt
3 TBSP white rice vinegar
80g sugar
1.25 tsp fish sauce
1 small garlic clove, crushed
1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
2.5 tsp water
1 tsp cornflour
Method:
Mix water and cornflour (make a slurry)
Add other ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Once boiling add the cornflour slurry and whisk.
Simmer for 1-2 minutes, turn off the heat and leave to cool.
