I wanted to start something off Quora and here I am, trying to use the IT brain to figure out Blogger.
As a general approach in the kitchen (hopefully not on the balls of your feet approaching the cooker, ready to bolt at the first sign of trouble), the assumption is people can cook and are looking for ideas or inspiration. I'm usually drawn to twists on favourites, one pots (or two) simple to make and tasty to scoff. I suppose the cooking schools in Italy and Thailand give a hint as to some favourite cuisines and a stint living in the US certainly influenced the taste buds.
Ohh and finally, for someone sharing recipes, I am a self proclaimed fiddler. Sometimes a recipe is almost followed and at others cheerfully unfollowed. This means substitutions are commonplace and measurements are a guide (unless it's a bake).
