Irish sausage meatballs. Leeks and mushrooms in a cream of mustard and Gewürztraminer sauce. Sweet potato croquettes.
Mix Irish sausage meat with an egg, breadcrumbs and a finely chopped onion. Lightly coat in flour.
Brown until golden in plenty of salted farm butter. Then set aside.
In the same pan cook leeks and mushrooms, wet with Gewürztraminer, add chicken stock and then cream and mustard.
Bring back meatballs and simmer on low heat. Add a sprinkle of parsley.
Eat accompanied by a glass ( or several )of chilled Gewürztraminer.
