Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies

I'm using the word cookie as these are American style.

This picture was 'snapped in the moment' a still warm cookie about to collapse after being scoffed (that would be taste tested) too soon.

The American cookie involves making a dough, rolling it into balls, flatten slightly and bake for 13 - 14 minutes until it's lightly golden and has spread into a cookie shape.

Ingredients (6):
(A)
100g plain or cake flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp sodium bicarbonate
1/4 tsp sea salt flakes

35g butter

(B)
55g golden sugar
35g dark chocolate chips

(C)
30g golden syrup
60g tahini, stirred well

Method:

Combine (A).

Rub in butter.

Stir in (B).

Pour on (C) and combine (adding 1 tsp of water if needed).

Using lightly floured hands, divide the mixture, rolling into balls, flatten and bake.
Fan, 170C for approximately 13 minutes.

My friend played 'guess the secret ingredient,'  he likes this game.  He guessed peanut butter (not bad) then potato.  He just hadn't expected tahini.
